This computer rendering shows our in-progress project, the Building 640 Learning Center. We have been working with the Presidio Trust and National Park Service for the past eight years, guiding this transformation of a simple 1921 corrugated metal aircraft hangar through various approvals and are now in the final design stages of the project.
We plan to bring back the old wooden aircraft hangar doors in front of a modern glass entry, which in conjunction with the existing concrete airplane pad, invites a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
