The original entry was very open and undefined – a new walnut entry screen was designed to add privacy to the adjacent living room and a recessed cabinet was added next to the stairs as an informal drop zone for the owners – old slate floors have been replaced with new Stile engineered hardwood flooring over radiant heating.
