The project is a custom new home approximately 3,000 sf. in size and the clients requested an Eichler feel to the design - this was achieved by organizing the design around an entry courtyard - the wedge-shaped lot's geometry suggested the splayed wings of the house which is narrow at the street but opens up to a wide backyard at the rear.
